Statement of Support for President Trump in the 2024 United States Presidential Election

The Iranian Americans for Constitution (IAC), a Political Action Committee (PAC) committed to preserving democratic values and constitutional governance, officially endorses President Donald J. Trump in the upcoming 2024 United States Presidential Election. Our endorsement is based on a critical analysis of the current administration’s shortcomings compared to President Trump’s proven record of leadership which has significantly enhanced national security and advanced peace in the Middle East.
Under the Biden administration, we have observed a series of concerning appointments and policy decisions that threaten U.S. national security and undermine its strategic interests. A particularly troubling example is the appointment of Ariane Tabatabai as Chief of Staff to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, and as Senior Advisor in the Bureau of Arms Control, Verification, and Compliance. Reports, such as those from Semaphore, have highlighted Tabatabai’s potential involvement in an influence network connected to the Islamic Republic of Iran, raising serious questions about the administration’s judgement and its implications for national security. This case reflects a broader pattern of questionable decision-making that casts doubt on the current administration’s ability to effectively protect American interests.
Furthermore, the long-standing relationship between U.S. Democratic administrations and the Islamic Republic of Iran has often been marked by a policy of appeasement that endangers global security. This was particularly evident during the Obama administration’s negotiations for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly known as the Iran Nuclear Deal. Recent revelations from The Washington Post have underscored the Obama administration’s reluctance to confront Iran’s illicit nuclear activities during these negotiations, a stance that enabled Tehran to advance its nuclear ambitions with minimal resistance. Such a history of concessionary diplomacy has repeatedly compromised long-term security for short-term diplomatic gains.
In contrast, President Trump’s tenure was marked by decisive and effective actions that have reinforced peace and stability in the Middle East. His administration was instrumental in neutralising significant threats, including the elimination of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS, in October 2019, and Qassem Soleimani, the commander of Iran’s Quds Force, in January 2020. These operations dealt a critical blow to terrorist networks and reaffirmed America’s commitment to eradicating threats to global security.
Moreover, President Trump’s diplomatic achievements, most notably the Abraham Accords signed in September 2020, have transformed the geopolitical landscape of the Middle East. These historic agreements, which normalised relations between Israel and key Arab nations, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco, represent a significant step toward lasting peace and stability in the region. The accords have paved the way for unprecedented cooperation and a new era of diplomacy in a historically volatile area.
The Iranian Americans for Constitution hopes that under President Trump’s leadership, the United States will continue to secure its interests and those of its allies in the Middle East.
His administration’s strategic vision has not only thwarted the expansionist ambitions of adversarial regimes, particularly in Tehran, but has also laid the foundation for sustainable peace in a region long fraught with conflict.
As we approach the 2024 election, it is crucial that the next President of the United States be someone with the proven ability to lead with strength, clarity, and a deep commitment to national and global security. President Trump has demonstrated these qualities throughout his tenure, and we firmly believe that his re-election will herald a new era of peace, security, and prosperity for the United States and its allies.
